Following up on yesterday’s patch, today’s hotfix reduces the difficulty of several enemies which became harder than intended (especially the Act 1 Bosses) in addition to bringing a number of Hero-based balance changes. These changes are mostly buffs, including several buffs to the Max/Starting Mana on Heroes. It also brings reworks to a handful of Hero specs which were rarely being picked.

Following up on yesterday’s patch, today’s hotfix reduces the difficulty of several enemies which became harder than intended (especially the Act 1 Bosses) in addition to bringing a number of Hero-based balance changes. These changes are mostly buffs, including several buffs to the Max/Starting Mana on Heroes. It also brings reworks to a handful of Hero specs which were rarely being picked.


ENEMY ADJUSTMENTS, ALL DIFFICULTIES

Note: These adjustments will be more felt on higher difficulties (particularly SSS), as enemies there gain proportionately more stats.

  • The Act 1 Demon Boss had their offensive stats moderately reduced.

  • The Act 1 Hydra had their defensive stats moderately reduced.

  • Lizards in Act 2 had their stats moderately reduced

  • Frost Mages in both Act 1 and Act 2 had their stats moderately reduced

  • Slimes in Act 1 had their stats slightly reduced. Slimes in Act 2 had their stats moderately reduced.

  • Forest Golems were adjusted to cast less often and have lower offensive output.

  • Spiders in Act 2 inflict slightly more Poison.


HERO ADJUSTMENTS

  • 🔄⬆️ Sal 

    • 🔄 Cold Snap (Signature Active Ability):

      • The bonus damage from this ability no longer Crits at baseline.

      • The amount of bonus damage Sal generates per cast was moderately increased to compensate for this.

    • 🔄 The Brisk:

      • Grants Cold Snap bonus damage the ability to crit.

      • Inflicts more Frost.

      • Generates more crit per cast.

      • No longer has a Backup effect.

    • ⬆️ The Lover:

      • Permanent Defense Gain: 20->30

      • Permanent Defense Gain for Pimenta: 10->15.

  • 🔄 Kai 

    • 🔄 The Heroic:

      • Fully redesigned.

      • Gives Kai bonus shields whenever he is shielded from any source. These shields do not expire over time.

  • ⬆️ Tilly

    • ⬆️ Starting Mana: 35->20 (The Elegant)

    • ⬆️ Max Mana 70->60 (The Elegant)

  • ⬆️🔄 Funke

    • ⬆️ Fire Blast (Signature Active Ability):

      • 150->175 base damage per fireball.

    • 🔄⬆️ The Detonator:

      • Reworked to trigger on cast instead of on stall.

  • ⬆️ Pimenta

    • ⬆️ The Lover:

      • Permanent Attack Speed Gain: 15->20

      • Permanent Attack Speed Gain for Sal: 5->10

  • ⬆️ Gustav

    • ⬆️ The Compounder:

      • Magic gained per Generate trigger: 12->20

  • ⬆️ Hoyoung

    • ⬆️ Starting Mana: 20->35

  • ⬆️ Yuuna

    • ⬆️Max Mana: 80->70

  • 🔄⬆️ Zuri

    • 🔄⬆️ The Poisonous:

      • Reworked to trigger “on attacked” instead “on attack”.

      • Increased max HP/S bonus from 100% of Crit to 250% of Crit.

    • ⬆️ The Blademaster:

      • Base damage/healing per attack: 5->10 

    • ⬆️ Max Mana: 135->125 (The Cruel spec)

  • 🔄⬆️ Reyna

    • 🔄⬆️ The Fury

      • Now gives Reyna 2 Attack per rush trigger this game.

      • Increased Rush duration of 2nd ability from 9->10.

    • ⬆️ Starting Mana: 0->15 

  • ⬆️ Rowan

    • ⬆️ Max Mana: 135->110 (The Earthquake)

    • ⬆️ Starting Mana: 50->60 (The Earthquake)

  • 🔄 Ratna

    • ⬇️ The Fashionable:

      • 40 Magic per item rarity level -> 25 magic per item rarity level.

    • 🔄⬆️ The Ostentatious:

      • Now gives her allies 50% of Ratna’s Mana Regen both on cast and on backup.
